Penguatan Integritas: Peran AI dalam Mengawasi Pemilu

Integritas pemilu merupakan hal yang mendasar bagi sistem demokrasi, namun penipuan pemilu dan ketidakteraturan terus merusak kepercayaan publik secara global. Dengan meningkatnya ketergantungan pada teknologi, AI muncul sebagai solusi potensial untuk meningkatkan pemantauan pemilu dan deteksi penipuan. Namun, penerapannya menimbulkan kekhawatiran etis yang signifikan, termasuk bias algoritmik dan masalah transparansi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai secara empiris efektivitas AI dalam mendeteksi penipuan pemilu sambil mengatasi tantangan etis ini. Melalui tinjauan pustaka dan analisis studi kasus, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi aplikasi dunia nyata AI dalam pengawasan pemilu, menyoroti baik potensi maupun keterbatasannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun AI dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan pemantauan pemilu, efektivitasnya bergantung pada desain yang hati-hati untuk mengurangi bias dan memastikan transparansi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan dengan mengusulkan kerangka kerja untuk mengintegrasikan AI dalam pengawasan pemilu, memastikan bahwa teknologi ini melengkapi proses manusia dan menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai demokratis.
